Authentication

API Key Bearer auth for inference; dashboard sessions are separate.

Authorization header

Inference routes under /v1 require a Project API Key:

Authorization: Bearer fab_...

Dashboard login (email + password for Platform Admin or Organisation Login) is a separate session API and must not be used for Chat Completions.

Auth errors

Key rotation

Rotating a Project API Key immediately invalidates the previous secret. The new value is displayed once in the dashboard and stored hashed. Plan client cutover before rotating.
